Alfa Announces “Alfa Start”, the Preconfigured Software Solution
Alfa has announced Alfa Start, the preconfigured software solution for equipment finance in the UK.
Through predefined configuration, Alfa Start allows UK-based operations of all sizes to take full advantage of the multi-featured, market-leading Alfa Systems platform - until now the preserve of larger, more established businesses.
Alfa Start is delivered quickly and cost-effectively, and includes a preconfigured start position with predesigned process catalogue and a suite of out-of-the-box standard UK integrations. This 'cookie-cutter' approach is designed to accelerate systems change, maximising value and minimising risk, and enabling lean or less bespoke businesses - such as HTB, Alfa's first Alfa Start customer - to innovate and challenge in the equipment finance space.
Sarah Taylor, Alfa's Senior Project Manager who is currently delivering Alfa Start for HTB, said: "Alfa Start's fully documented, comprehensive process catalogue reflects established best practice, and is built on three decades supporting the top providers at the forefront of equipment finance in the UK. For those lessors flexible enough to take on our best-practice parameters and processes, Alfa Start represents a compelling proposition to take their businesses forward."
James Paul, Alfa's Chief Delivery Officer, said: "By choosing a preconfigured instance of Alfa Systems with business-ready core configuration, Alfa Start customers can be in live production with their new system in as little as 20 weeks, quickly leveraging the proven functionality and performance for which Alfa Systems has become renowned."
Alfa Start customers benefit from an always-on cloud-hosted solution with fully managed infrastructure and regular upgrades. The start position, process catalogue and associated documentation benefit clients of all sizes as a project accelerator, enabling faster implementations.
Alfa Start is in use for equipment finance in the UK. Alfa will roll out Alfa Start for a key additional market later in 2020.
