Alfa has reported an impressive haul for its customers at the 2023 Asset Finance Connect awards.

Louise McIntosh, Head of Operations at United Trust Bank (UTB), picked up the evening’s Outstanding Achievement Award for her project management of the implementation of Alfa Start in 2022, which was delivered in 21 weeks from start to finish.

"Louise somehow balances high-quality service in business-as-usual operations with managing a very ambitious change agenda."

Nathan Mollett, Head of Asset Finance at UTB

Close Brothers Asset Finance was recognised in two areas: Lender of the Year (shared with Simply Asset Finance), and the much coveted Environment Award. Close was described as leading the way in a number of renewable sectors, including onshore wind farms, battery storage, and EV leasing. All three companies were honoured in Asset Finance Connect’s 2023 Asset Finance 50 Report, with Close Brothers and Novuna declared “Leading Lenders” and United Trust Bank the list’s highest climber.

"It’s wonderful to see these distinguished operations - each a valued Alfa customer - being acknowledged as leaders in their fields. We look forward to enabling ingenuity in the market for years to come."

Alfa also collected its own corporate Social Award for its vibrant and diverse impact on the lives of the people who work at Alfa, as well as the wider community.
